Our partner this year is the South Texas Blood & Tissue Center.

For more than 45 years, the nonprofit South Texas Blood & Tissue Center has focused on a critical purpose: to save and improve lives. This essential service allows front-line workers to focus on the direct care of patients, with confidence that this lifesaving resource will be there when it is needed most.

APCO is asking all attendees to consider taking time out during APCO 2021 and donate blood. The gift of donation is a personal, powerful choice that has the ability to save a life. There is no substitute for blood; it can only come from a volunteer blood donor. During these uncertain times, the demand for blood is higher than ever.

If you are eligible to donate blood, please make your appointment below.

The patients that you save may never be able to say “thank you” for changing their lives. But on their behalf, we’d like to thank you for the gift of your time, commitment and lifesaving blood donation.

All donors can choose from hundreds of gift cards including:

• Uber Eats
• Hulu
• Dominos
• Many more

Once a donor completes a blood donation, our team will hand them a card that they can use to create an account to redeem points for an e-gift card or other South Texas Blood items.

**Donors will not have to pay for S&H to have their gifts sent to them**

How can you earn “points”?

First, make an appointment & keep it! Just doing that will get you 25 points.

Points earned per donation type:

• Whole blood donation: 100 points
• Double-red-cell donation: 200 points
• Platelets donation: 200 points
